When preparing a project, the framework conditions for the implementation of the project are defined. The partner organisations involved incorporate the projects into their organisational structure and plan their internal resources for the project. 

The partner organisations also agree on how they will work together. They jointly determine the responsibilities of the individual project participants, the processes required for communication and implementation of the work packages and the tools to be used for project implementation and project documentation. 

Data protection must be taken into account: 

• Data protection as a cross-project topic in your own organisation: What impact does the project have on the existing implementation of data protection? Do new processes or measures need to be set up?
  
• Data protection within the project: What do the project participants need to consider with regard to data protection requirements? It is also worth checking whether the processes have been implemented appropriately in all partner organisations.
