External service providers
When choosing external service providers, make sure that they also offer sufficient guarantees for compliance with the GDPR.
An order data processing contract must be concluded with external order processors. Larger companies often offer a template for the order data processing contract for download on their website, which you fill in with your data and send to the company for countersignature.
Check providers particularly carefully if they are not based in the European Union or in a country for which there is no adequacy decision. Such service providers can only be considered if they offer comprehensive guarantees for the protection of personal data. The standard contractual clauses offered by the European Commission, for example, can serve as a basis.
