Task
Think of an event that you want to plan as part of your project (e.g. a multiplier event).
Make a note of the following information about your event in a table:
(1) What types of images are taken at the event?
- photos only
- only video recordings
- both
(2) For what purpose are the recordings made?
- for internal use only
- for training and educational purposes
- Publication on your own website
- for public relations work and reporting on the event
- for use in print media and for advertising purposes
- Publication in social media
(3) Who creates and processes the data?
- Yourself or an external service provider (e.g. photographer)?
(4) How long are the recordings kept? When will they be deleted?
- The recordings are only stored for as long as they are required for the purpose. But then they must also be deleted...
- The recordings are kept longer for documentary reasons, for example. For how long? It makes sense to define deletion rules here. For example, your own social media posts or blog posts can be deleted at certain intervals. You can also delete recordings when you no longer have any use for them.
(5) Is there any press on site to take and publish their own photographs?
- Then the participants should also be informed about this…
